The American United Philosophy
The Credit Union's goal is to develop a long-term working relationship with you and your family - one built on trust and results. We're fully committed to you and your unique financial needs and goals. So, whether you are joining our VAMCU Division, BluesPlus Division, First Californian Division, or are a part of our main American United Family of Credit Unions, we feel that "We are the Difference that Makes a Difference".Joining is easy.

Bring the completed application with you, along with photo id, or send it, and a notarized copy of your picture id, to the Credit Union.
When mailing your application, please include a check or money order for $25.00 as your refundable membership pledge. We'll get you going from there. It's that simple. Membership in American United Family of Credit Unions and its BluesPlus, VAMCU, and First Californian divisions entitles you to an ownership interest in the Credit Union. Each member is an owner and has the right to vote for our volunteer leadership positions. You see, credit unions are not-for-profit, member owned financial cooperatives, and that means that you are the owner, along with other members.
- Anyone living, working, worshiping, volunteering or attending school in Salt Lake County
- Employee or volunteer of the VA Medical Center, veteran, or active service man and woman
- Employee of the Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield System
- Member of the Tribal Volunteer Employee Advocates (TVEA) (membership form attached to membership information)
- Employee/volunteer of the Great Western Council of the Boy Scouts of America
